AI Audit + Fix

Your customers are asking AI for a recommendation. Will it name you?

We score how visible your business is across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity — then do the fix work ourselves. Site changes, schema, listings, and AI-citable content. End to end. No developer, no content team, no PDFs you have to act on alone.

The problem

AI doesn’t see most local businesses.

Google was built for keywords. AI search is built for answers — and it pulls those answers from sources it can read, trust, and cite. If your website is a generic template, your reviews are scattered, your schema is broken, and your service pages don’t actually say what you do — the AI skips you and recommends the business down the street that got the basics right.

What we hear

“Our Google ranking is fine, our reviews are great — but we’re losing jobs to a competitor nobody’s heard of. How?”

Usually because that competitor is the one ChatGPT names when a customer asks. AI search is a different game with different rules — and you need someone who plays it for you.

How we're different

Real fixes, not just findings.

Every other agency emails you a 40-page audit and disappears. We do the audit, then sit down and ship the fixes ourselves — schema, on-page changes, Google Business Profile, the directories AI assistants pull from, and the Q&A content that actually gets cited. You don’t need a developer. You don’t need a content team. You need this fixed.

Inside our services

Audit + implementation

We find every gap. Then we close it.

── Find · the audit

What we find.

  • AI visibility score

We test your business against the prompts your customers actually use — “best plumber near me,” “HVAC repair in [your city],” “who fixes leaky faucets fast” — across four AI engines, and score whether you show up at all.

  • Competitor benchmark

We find the local businesses AI recommends instead of you, and pull apart what they’re doing right: content, schema, citations, reviews — the whole picture.

  • SEO + AI-readability check

Title tags, headings, metadata, structured data, internal links, content depth, NAP consistency, review surface. The foundation Google still cares about, plus the structure AI crawlers need.

  • Prioritized fix plan

Every gap we found, sorted by impact, with the exact page, field, and change to make. This is the scope our team works against in the implementation phase.

── Fix · the work

What we fix.

  • Site content + service pages

We rewrite or restructure the pages AI crawlers can’t read, so when an engine looks at your site it actually understands what you do, where, and for whom.

  • Schema + structured data

We add the JSON-LD, LocalBusiness, Service, and FAQ schema AI engines rely on to cite local businesses — the layer most local sites are missing entirely.

  • Listings + citations

Google Business Profile, Apple Business Connect, Bing Places, the directories AI actually pulls from. Consistent NAP, consistent categories, real photos, real hours.

  • AI-citable content

Service area pages, FAQ blocks, and clearly-written answers in the format AI engines prefer to quote — written to perform with both AI and the customers who read your site.

Our method

The Visibility Loop

A five-step process that compounds month over month.

01

Audit.

Score visibility across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity for the queries that drive jobs in your trade and your zip code. Benchmark against the local businesses AI currently recommends.

02

Map.

Identify the questions your customers actually ask AI assistants — not the ones a keyword tool surfaces. Match each one to the page that should be the answer.

03

Fix.

Schema, on-page rewrites, Google Business Profile, listings on the directories AI pulls from, and Q&A content built to be cited. We do the work — no developer, no content team needed on your end.

04

Monitor.

Weekly tracking of citations across all four AI assistants. You see exactly when each engine starts naming you, for which query, and how the visibility is trending.

05

Iterate.

AI search shifts every month — new models, new ranking signals, new schema patterns. We adjust the strategy so the wins compound instead of fading.

What it's like to work with us

Built for the way local businesses actually run.

01

You talk to the person doing the work, not an account manager.

02

We don't email you a 40-page PDF and disappear. We do the fixes ourselves.

03

We work the way contractors work — text us, we respond same day.

04

You'll know in 30 days whether AI is naming you. We'll know how to fix it if it isn't.

05

No annual contracts. Month to month. If we're not earning it, leave.

06

Reporting in plain English. No 'impressions per session' nonsense.

Getting started

From intake to implementation, in four steps.

01

Tell us about your business

Name, website, service area, what you actually do. Two minutes — by email, phone, or in person.

02

We run the audit

We query four AI engines for your zip code and category, scrape your site, and benchmark you against the local competitors AI currently recommends. About a week.

03

We walk you through what we found

A short call or in-person sit-down where we go through the scorecard, the competitive analysis, and the fix plan together, and agree on scope.

04

We implement every fix

Site updates, schema, listings, and content — we carry out the work end to end. You don’t need to bring in a separate web team, and you don’t need to manage the project.

Common questions

Things people actually ask us.

For the deeper version — how AI assistants actually decide who to cite, what to skip, and the full Visibility Loop in detail — read The Local AI Visibility Playbook.

Is this just SEO with a new name?+

No. Traditional SEO optimizes for ranking on a results page where the user picks from a list. AI search optimizes for being the single answer the model gives. Different signals, different content patterns, different schema. There's overlap with SEO fundamentals — clean technical foundation, real authority, structured data — but the goal is to be cited, not ranked.

Will this hurt my Google rankings?+

It almost always helps them. The work we do — schema, faster pages, clearer service descriptions, FAQ blocks, consistent listings — is exactly what Google has been rewarding for years. We've never seen this work hurt traditional search performance. We've often seen it lift both at once.

Do I need a new website?+

Almost never. We start by improving what you already have. Most local sites have everything they need structurally — they just don't speak the language AI crawlers expect. We rewrite, restructure, and add schema to your existing pages. We only recommend a rebuild when the foundation is genuinely broken, and we'll tell you straight if it is.

How fast will the phone start ringing?+

Realistically: thirty to ninety days for the first AI citations to start showing up, and three to six months before it's a meaningful share of your inbound. Google Business Profile and listings work shows up faster (often inside two weeks). Anyone promising you AI citations next week is selling a fantasy.

How do I know it's working?+

We send a short monthly report — not a dashboard, an email — that shows: which AI assistants named you this month, for what queries, plus call/lead volume from your tracking. Visibility is the leading metric; booked jobs is the lagging one. We hold ourselves accountable to both.

Does this work for my trade?+

If your customers are real people who could plausibly ask an AI assistant for a recommendation, yes. We work mostly with home services (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, landscaping), trades (auto repair, body shops), personal services (med spa, salon, dental), and contractors. If you're not sure, ask — we'll tell you straight whether AI search is a fit or a waste for your business.

What does it cost?+

The audit is free. The fix work is custom-scoped — it depends on how many pages your site has, how broken the schema is, how many service areas you cover, and how aggressive you want to be. Engagements are month-to-month, no annual contracts. Easiest way to understand the investment is to do the free audit and we'll talk numbers from there.

What you walk away with

  • A short call (or sit-down) where we walk you through every finding in plain English.
  • Every fix on the plan — site changes, schema, listings, content — implemented in full by our team.
  • An after-report showing the visibility lift, so you can see what changed.
